I got burnt

I feel this is very unfair, because I slathered on the SPF 15 every two hours. And now it's peeling. Screw the tan, next time it's factor 40.

In the hairdressers chair

I only realised eight or nine months ago that I had curly hair. My hair had always been long, with a wave, some ringlets, and curls that stood straight out at the end. Then I went to the hair dresser. And, oh joy, that's when I realised my hair was curly. First of all, the hairdresser was weird. She talked even more then I did, she didn't look at my hair at ALL, and she kept on going on and on about how curly my hair was. Um, thanks. But I got an OK haircut, only thing was, it was now obvious my hair was curly, since it had layers. So, I didn't really like my hair (blame the hairdresser), but I got over it. In fact, I quite liked it. But then I went to the hairdressers again. This time I went to a different one, I didn't want to be near that weirdo hairdresser ever again. This time I was prepared. I brought a book so they wouldn't talk to me. Well, I guess I should have looked in the mirror, because even though I had brought a picture showing what haircut I wanted I GOT AN AWFUL HAIRCUT. Now, first of all, the hairdresser had blown it straight, so I thought it would probably look OK once I got home and washed it. WRONG. I had the most awful haircut ever. I'm still growing it out. So, here's the lesson to be learned:
Never let them blowdry it straight and always look to see how they're doing.
